Here I stand,
On this cliff on the edge of the world,
As I look into the Abyss,
And behind me is existence,
With a choice to return to the world behind me,
Or fade away.

There you stand behind me,
Calling out my name,
But I can’t hear your cries,
Like I cried out to you,
As I existed,
Wishing you hear my words.

I no longer am something,
I slowly disappear into nothing,
And you continue to cry out my name,
Wishing for me to come back,
But I am long gone,
Gone so far into the Abyss.

The void in my heart without you,
Is so much to carry,
When you are not here,
Not like before,
Only a shattered wish,
As my mind dies like my heart.

All I hear now is the whistle of the wind,
And you run to me to grab me before I fall,
Fall farther into the nothingness,
Here on the edge of this cliff,
And if I fall,
I fall out of existence.

Will you catch me?
