Waning Wants

I’m so dreary
And weary
And I just want to sleep

So tired
And drained

Can you see the sun is gone
And the moon is out?

The sky is bright
But yet it is dark
For my eyes see a dark sky
While yours sees a bright one

Disappear
And my weary bones
And my exhausted mind
Can finally
Be at east
And I can just sleep
For all eternity
