That’s Not My Name
I think that was my longest update ever yesterday.
I already dislike my NaNoNovel. I did not stay up to midnight last night working on it. I stayed up to midnight reading manga.
It’s only three thousand words and I think I should start over. Really, I can’t focus on it too well. That aside I have research to do and questions to write.
But manga is so addicting. I am at the library writing so I do not get lost in the million links under my ‘Favourites.’
I have an alternate email account mostly for formal purposes that I do not check often. When I decided to open it up recently, I found an email that was sent way back in July from someone I do not know, sent to an address that wasn’t mind. I’m not too sure what to do about it. On one hand it is someone’s personal mail which I feel bad for reading, on the other this person never mailed me again; unless they are waiting for me (or the person they think is me) to reply.
This happens a lot with this account too. I once received an email purely in French (I have a French last name and French roots, but my francais is comme ci, comme ça at best.
Now I have another email from a person named ‘Nicky’ (whom I don’t recognize at all) inviting me to MySpace. Apparently, she just moved close to me finally.
I do not know why my name is so popular. It is not a ‘Smith’ or a ‘Patel’ or a ‘Chin.’ I just wish someone I wanted to email me, would email me. Like any of those fifteen or so places I gave my resume. Alas, they do not.
Back to the books for me,
