Asleep
My
mind slips through my ears
Falling onto ocean piers
The gulls
bring me my rings
Whitecaps fill my heart with joy
As they
bring me to my boy
And the mermaid sings
With
our fingers interwound
Prepare to crash into the ground
He puts
a crown upon my head
I trace the stilling waters
Swim and dance
with all the otters
As I'm being tucked into bed
