Lightning Speed

Everything is coming so fast.

We see it at one moment.

And then,

FLASH!

It’s gone.

Things speed by us so fast

That was don’t have time to acknowledge

That it even happened.

When we are younger,

Time goes by so slow.

But as we grow older,

Time goes by so fast,

We don’t know where the time went.

We wake up one morning

And we aren’t in high school anymore.

We’re college students.

Then we have our first job.

Then the next day it seems we’re engaged.

Then a week later we’re married.

And then we have children,

And then grandkids,

And great-grandkids,

And sometimes even great-great-grandkids.

We always wonder where the time goes.

Some even try and figure out

Where it all goes.

But no one can ever figure out

Why times speeds by faster as we grow older.

It always seems to.

So,

Hold onto your memories

And

Love those who you love

With all you can

And never let them go.

Enjoy every opportunity that comes up to you.

Always take the benefits from what ever

Experiences that you may partaken in.

Doesn’t matter if they are the good or the bad

Benefits.

Take them and learn the lessons

That you were meant to learn.

Everything that people experience was

Meant for a reason.

No matter if a close friend dies

Or

You get married to the person of your dreams.

Learn the lessons

That come along with the experience.

Don’t let everything pass you by.

Don’t let life pass you by

While you sit on the sidelines

And do nothing.

Hate everything,

Experience everything.

Love everything.

And you will have a fulfilled life.
