Kaitlyn Hall

Hesse 1C

Pink toe shoes are slipped on;

Then twirling round and away,

She does fouettes ‘til dawn.

Choreographers congregate for an aeon,

So much to choose from,

And it’s hard to dance a bonbon.

All confusion is begone,

They stand and confirm,

To be a bonbon is better than another swan.

Pink toes shoes are slipped on,

And on to the center,

The steps hard though none are Teflon.

Finished with the Chiffon,

Ballerina stands on stage,

One that seems a pylon.

Pink toe shoes are slipped on,

She stands in the wings,

And pulls of her introduction.

The day ends with many a carnation.
