Desperate, pointless prayer

Plus a sinking feeling of “no” for an answer

Multiplied by the surrounding silence of

No one is here for you

A division between myself and the world

Minus the will power to just give up

Negative thoughts and positive damage

Grids of black and white

When everything is in shades of grey

In this heart, nothing is logical

In this world, one is not a whole

And a fraction is worse than zero

The probability of wasted efforts

Is off the charts

In this operation

The application

Is an infinite loop

In this equation

The past is the problem

And you are the solution

If only my calculator would work
