In the Office by a Math Editor

I start counting down the minutes, the minute I arrive
It's so boring I can't stand it, I can't wait to say goodbye
I know that this is it for now, i need to keep my focus
I need to pick that red pen up, I’ve got to refer to that syllabus
But somehow I can't move my hand, my eyes, they choose to close
No matter how high the paper piles, I'm just gonna doze
So i'll just wait till 5 o'clock, and get ready to go home
But THAT's when time will pass so quickly and it'll too soon be tomorrow.
