November 5, 2009 - 12:47 PM

It's been a long time since I've added anything to this pillow book, I know. I didn't abandon it though, and my neglect was not due to laziness.

Actually, I decided to step back from it on purpose, and then re-examine myself in a few months time. Just because.

Highlights of my life since I stepped away from this endeavor?

- September 1: Summer ended and school began. Such joy.

- October 10: We went to Kennywood for Phantom Fright Nights, and me, being the klutz that I am broke my ankle getting off a ride.

- October 14: I went to the hospital to get surgery. I now have screws and pins in my right leg.

- October 28: I went with my family to go see the premiere of This Is It. My love and admiration for Michael has held firm since his death. The movie was a great experience.

- October 31: For the first time in my life, I missed out on Trick or Treating. It was a bit depressing, even more so because I didn't get to take my beautiful niece around the neighborhood, and it was her first year going. I did manage to get my ass up and down my grandmother's stairs though by walking. That more than made up for it.

- November 5: A woman who my mother was once friends with named Nicole, has a daughter named Brianna who turned seven today. This is considered important because I never forget about people, and it also shows just how much time has passed and how much I've grown. I was only in the fourth grade when Brianna was born, and now I'm a junior in high school. Oh, and I've had my YouTube account for, what, two years now today? I guess that's kind of cool or something like that, lol.

Anyway, that's pretty much the extent of things. When I first got hurt I didn't fight with my mom for a while. Two or three weeks at least. It was bliss. Things are back to normal between us now though, unfortunately.

I'm also making great progress on my Christmas list, and my grades have started to decline.

I've also been pretty lonely lately. It sucks.

That's enough for now.
