A+ A- |
you were the devil I couldn't resist
(your eyes were hidden behind magnified lenses)
you gave me a spark of life
(filled with rebellion, lust, and )
i couldn't hide it for long
(i never was good at decieving)
you smiled and took my hand
(our palms meshed together)
of course we didn't last
(your intentions, unclear)
and of course i cried
(how could you expect me not )
we talked again
(after a month of stone-cold silence and pain)
you lifted me up again
(pleasure made me shiver)
three years down
(we don't speak anymore)
you hate me anymore
(the fault was put on me)
now i'm free
(your intentions are obvious now)
though I do still wonder
(don't we all?)
it's plain to see
(as easy as can be)
you may have loved my body
(but you never loved my soul)
you were just the devil
that a girl could not resist
