you are the center
when will you ever notice
the periphery

need for attention
draining all my energy
you, the murderer

go masquerading
you insist it's just a game
the real you is gone

simple denial
do you have yourself convinced?
you're fooling no one

it's a lack of trust
always shifting your focus
wrench in the machine

the end; sleep at night
is it worth it anymore?
the means: wasted breath

penny for your thoughts
trust in our conversations
I was worth much more

you are black and white
unsure which side to believe
just a drama mask

a whore for their eyes
the opposite when they're gone
are you satisfied?

paranoid theory
we hate that which is ourselves
so what's your damage?
