In this world,
We stand among the same piece of earth,
We breathe the same air,
Under the same sky,
In this same space.

When we first met,

I fell in love with you,

And when we parted ways,

The world changed,

And my heart was torn.
As time went on and my heart remained with you,
I shared what I felt,

I still cared about you,

And I wanted to be with you,
My dear Emily.

Yet as I shared my feelings,

They were forgotten,
With this forgotten feelings,

My heart was torn,

Like you rip paper to pieces.

Today I feel like

Only a shred of my heart remains,

As you smile every day,

And I am glad you are happy.

But I want you to remember the times,
I said “ I care about you”,

And replace the words,

Care about with still love,
And you’ll hear what I have been trying to tell you…

But it doesn’t matter too much now,

Because my heart is almost gone,
And our now,

We live in separate worlds,
In which in mine, I disappear…
