Boy in the invisible tie.

No one sees him maturing, sitting at his office desk,

doing all things boring.

Twiddling him thumbs on invisible silk;

his mommy gives him cookies and milk.

Paying his taxes with a Fisher Price pen, he wonders if there are other men

who try to show that they’re grown up.

But still wear invisible ties.
