Dedication:
For everyone just staring high school,
It's all so over-whelming, I know,
But don't let any of it get to you.
You'll see why soon enough.
We all will...
Authors Note:
Something I wrote right before school started back up for me. I was really nervous about starting high school and I didn't want any of it to change who I am, I still don't. So, I wrote this to sorta remind myself of that. I wanted to add more onto this, but I couldn't really think of anything else. If anyone out there, whether you're in high school or not, has anything to add to this, feel free to let me know anyway you want to, I'd be more than happy to add on to this if you think others should know something. It's important that we all get the message...
Title:
A High School Oath
I will not hide behind a mask of cosmetics.
I will not laugh when others fall.
I will not be drawn in by the fake glitter and glam.
I will not ditch my friends because it's the cool thing to do.
I will not blow off studying to hang with those I don't know.
I will not crumble because some girl put me down.
I will not date who I should over someone I want.
I will not be bossed around by the "in crowd".
I will not wear what they say I should.
I will not pretend to be someone I'm not.
I will not be swept away by the "in crowd".
I will not be swept in by the "in crowd".
I will not let high school break me.
Again, anything you think anyone should know, let me know and I'll be sure to add it.
Nothing else to say...
I'm getting a headache...
Little heads up: Mom-who-likes-to-yell-at-TV + WWE = Splitting headache.
'Nuff said.
Anyway,
Until next time,
Later Party-Peeps!!!
