my lips bleed like roses drenched in the rain as i try to smile and drown my sorrow with thoughts of you. as the sky fades into oblivion with the music of the night still lingering in my ears, i dream of eternity even for just a moment. but how can i call this love when i feel nothing? my heart has stopped beating and my body is numb from the pain. i already lost my soul to you and forever is a terribly long time for me to fall again.

i keep chasing yesterday but all i caught were the butterflies in my stomach.
