False Hope
ForeverBehindTheImpression

*~.~*

I wish that I could soar

Through the misery into the light

I wish that I could dive

From depression to happiness

I wish that I could bolt

From my life into yours

I wish that I could see where this is taking me

Where anything in my life is taking me

I wish that I could hear the truth to your lies

The real truth to all of it

I wish that I could taste the broken dreams of your mind

All your ambitions and imaginings

I wish that I could smell the floral affair of your thoughts

The meaning behind your actions

And most of all I wish that I could feel

Everything more than you are capable of making me feel

*~.~*

If wishes were fishes we’d all cast nets in the sea

We would gather the shiny slithering bodies

Like you do daffodils in the spring

*~.~*

But wishes aren't fishes

Wishes are barely myths created by the hopeful

They have no place in the real world

Banished from our lives

*~.~*

Don't wish on a star

All you will achieve is gaining false hope

Don’t wish when you blow out your candles

All you will achieve is gaining more false hope

And most off all don't wish to see me like this again

Because that’s just absurdity on your behalf

*~.~*

A/N: Old poem that I liked but never posted :D
