i unfolded you tonight - your colors are fading from a hard year sealed in my heart.
i can still taste our words from that night, i can still feel your smile and still smell
our chemistry as it crackled through the the air of that summer night. i still sense
you near me, when i'm all alone or in a crowd of people, and i still smile when that happens.
as the night turned into a night just like ours, i replayed our soundtrack once more,
before folding you up & tucking you back into your spot in my heart
- deep enough so you are not disturbed, but close enough so i can pull you out at any time,
any place.

                                    ...i miss you.

AN: i really do.
