the new school year

I started school today. Well, technically yesterday, but...

I'm just starting Algebra I. My ever-so-helpful sister came downstairs, saw what I was doing, and was like, "Oh, you have to do that nasty stuff?" Heh. That pretty much confirmed my bad feeling about it.

The computer was screwing up so that I had to type on letter at a time and then click on the answer box again. It was so unendingly frustrating! I was ready to shoot the stupid thing by the time I was done.

At any rate, there's going to be a section in Language Arts (which, for me, is actually like English and Spelling and everything all rolled together) about how to properly write a novel. Or something. I don't know. It says something about writing a novel. But it's for, like, February. I should seriously not look ahead. Because now I want to do those lessons.

I would have done some lessons ahead today (since I have neither Science nor History again until Wednesday), but, as I said, the computer was screwing up. Whatever.

NCIS and House come back on in a week. Well, House is less than a week away now. Six days. And I'm definitely counting.
