Ever shifting details in you,

The face is no longer the same.

Shifting 'round like a puzzle

Until I no longer know your name.

Every piece is wrong,

Nothing fits perfectly

Anymore

Scatter it across the room

The pieces fly off and litter

the floor

Ever changing faces

of the person that was

A fool to think

it'd remain just because

I believed in it.

That i believe in it

That it would stay the same

Never change.

The pieces are wrong,

Nothing fits at all

anymore

The puzzle's all wrong

The image is no more

Scattered to the floor

the face is gone

The face isn't there

anymore.
