Better

We had an easy friendship,

Long conversations,

A weird combination,

Of you and me.

One day I was single,

And I was down.

And you were around.

So it got better.

We said things,

We shan’t have said,

But you had her instead.

So it got better.

But then you didn’t have her,

And you were down.

And I was around.

And it got better.

And we said things,

I wanted said,

But you wanted her instead.

It wasn’t better.

You cancelled our plans,

Ignored me,

Hurt me,

And it kept getting worse.

Eventually we sort of talked,

I found out you are with her,

And now everything else is a blur,

Of half ass attempts for conversation,

Seeing you two wherever I go,

Trying to fix my ego,

And pretend that I don’t care.

I’ve never been this hurt,

Over such a trivial issue.

I can’t believe you,

Broke my heart.

Hi. I haven’t written in forever. Because I haven’t been this…out of sorts in about a year. More than that. Because I generally get annoyed at overly emotional girls, such as myself.

Review? It will help my ego? I’ll love you forever? And give you cake?
