Arrith has been ruled by kings for centuries. The first documented King was King Atack the conquer. c.760 (A-ta-k) He named the land he won from the Naob state 'Arrith' meaning 'The Mountainous land'. (Aie-rrth) King Atack drove out what was then the Northern Naobs (the nomad tribe of Aswela) out of what is now known as Southern Arrith. This made the country of Naob smaller and less dominate to the new Arrithican monarchy. King Atack actually married a young women from the Aswela tribe but her name was never mentioned in the Arrithican history. The question of what did the king rule over is easy. Southren Arrith were full of Naobian nomads but further north there were mountain men (modern day Arrithican bandits or sheepherders) who traveled the mountainous country freely. Some did not take well to being ruled by a king while others (the shepherds and country people of West Arrith) took kindly to their new ruler.

King Atack and his queen ruled for twenty years before their son, Prince Nashie took the Arrthican throne in the year 780. He, found a Arrithican bride for he had nothing to do with the Naob peoples. Their minority in Arrith became known during his rule and this began the Drivk ouie (Dri-vk Ou-i) or 'Driving out' in Arrthican. King Nashie made it known that any nomad from the Naob country was not welcome here. Trade routes to the country and back into Arrith were closed and many people, not just the Northren nomads of Naob suffered but most of the populous of southern and northeastern Arrith. The Arrithicans were depenant on the fur trade that kept them warm during their harsh winter months. With out the Naobians they went with out this warm fur. Many of the yasiks and animals with fur verged on extinction in the Arrthican mountains because of the lack of fur trade. What hurt the Aswelas and other nomads the most was the lack of spice trade and flow of iron goods. When the king saw this; he reopened the trade routes but warned the Naobians they could only stay in country until their trading was done and then had to leave. The young King also found that this profited him more then natural resources and labour work in his own country. The trading market made his people and him wealthy.

After King Nashie his son, Prince Atack the second took the throne and established a strong trading system with the Naobians, tapped into Arrith's own resources as well to make them indepentant if ever the trading systems failed.(year: c. 760-801) This made Arrith's golden age and one of the brightest ages in their histroy. The king married a princess from a coastal island called Rhenka.(Ren-Ka) She is one of the first queens mentioned in Arrithican history. Rashelda (Rash-Elda) was bright and cunning for her type. She caught the king's fancy one day when he was visiting the island. Arrithican historians comment saying “To him, she was the beauty of the island. Nothing in all the world, no riches could ever compare or make him happier then her.” It is said that the queen melted the heart of the king and he held her heart in his hands. The poets commented on their love as well saying that “only such creatures who are deeply in love can see past the flaws and live in harmony with each other. Our king and queen have done such and is a good set example of what love means and what it can achive if nurtured with every ounce of respect and watered with every word flowing from the mouth.” Queen Rashelda died four months before the king, many say it broke his heart and that is what caused such an early death. What ever the causes King Atack the second and Queen Rashelda are known as starving lovers that were never full of each other.

King Tasthik and his Queen, Quyisa built the famous 'City of the King' nestled between the mountain range of Haspk and the south hills of Asphin. This was in the year of 3499. Many decades after the kings and queens mentioned earlier. It was the only notable thing that Tasthik did for the people, with in keeping peace between Nomads and his people.

In the leading decades and years the country saw golden ages and hard times. When a good ruler ruled the land it was called 'the years of Atack the second' when a bad king took the throne it was called 'The years of Nashie'.

It wasn't until Year 4200 when King Jasuit (Ja-Sui) took the throne, grandfather of the current king, King Jasphin and great-grandfather of current crowned prince, Prince Irvrik. He established another trading route, the silk route that made it better for Naobian nomads. By now the slave trade was popular and many tribes in the Naobian were being raided. (it was in the year of 4340 that Eilsa came into the story.) In 4210 King Jasuit outlawed such practice as forceful slavery and most of the Naobian born slaves were set free. However, in the year of 4217many raiders once again took tribal people out of Naob and sold them as slaves to the king and people of the High City. The treatment was better but some masters were just as brutal then before. In the year of 4270 the king's son, Prince Jaspik (father of current king Jasphin and grandfather of the crowned prince Irvrik) took the throne and ruled with his wife, Naspha from the coast kingdom of Rhenia. They ruled peacefully and had two daughters and one son, then Crowned Prince Jasphin. They ruled from 4270 to 4300 when the king died early of sickness. Jasphin, then in his late teens, took the throne. His mother died of old age in 4310. His sisters (the princesses and prince's aunts) married to lords in the new king's council. In the year 4312 the king married a lord's daughter by the name of Havila. Princess Dyra was born in the late summer month of Aira (air-a) in the year of 4311. Prince Irvrik was born two years later in the early spring month of Ira in the year 4313. The last child of King Jasphin's to be born was Anne-Ravel, named after Havila's respect great-grandmother, Lady Anne-Ravel Nadika of the Coasial kingdom. She was born in the early winter month Ralia in the year of 4316. These records are kept in the Royal Book of Birth.
