Chap. 10 Rescue part 2

“You have never faced anyone such as the like of me!” Fin taunted while twirling his katanas.

“Uh huh sure” I said not impressed charging at him I let my anger take control. Just before I could lay a blow on him, Fin backhanded me with his right hand, katana still in it. I went flying into a wall back first.

“Ok… you’re going to be a LOT tougher than what I’ve faced before.” Fin charged at me with his katana but this time I successfully blocked his attack. We dueled for a few minutes; he was good; he kept blocking every hit I tried to land on him.

“Who the hell was this guy?” I kept thinking. All of a sudden he was able to cut through my defense and cut my right leg pretty badly. He then threw me into a very dark corner, where I played dead while I planned my next move. He must have believed I was dead because he smirked and said

“You’re sad, you’d never make it as an Acura.”

“Shadow, I know this is crazy, but lower your rage so I can come back. I think I know how stop him.”

“I’m not done with him!” I yelled at Rendak, I know this was not my body but this was MY fight.

“You have my word Shadow, you will have your revenge on him later, but right now Trinity is all that matters. Now calm yourself and let me come back.” I let out a sigh

“This isn’t over Rendak, you OWE me.” All of a sudden I changed back to myself with exception to the hair and wings due to it being night outside.

(Rendak’s POV)

I snuck back up and saw Fin filling a glass of the newly processed blood. He started talking to himself.

“Thank you kindly princess, and now a toast to Acura. May I be able to cause much more chaos with this sip of your precious blood.” As his lips were about to touch the glass I charged up my right hand and fired pure light energy at his glass.

“This ain’t over yet Fin.” I said to him.

“NO it isn’t” he said.

“Cause now I get the pleasure of slaughtering you.” He charged at me and I dodged his attack and then let him have it with all my light energy I muster. The light energy had a greater effect than I had thought.

“That’s it!” I thought. Darkened creatures such as the Acura, are weak to light energy beams from angels. I walked up to him he wasn’t breathing so I started running to Trinity.

“What are you doing finish him?!” Shadow yelled in my head.

“He’s dead.” I told him,

“There’s nothing else to do, besides Trinity needs us!” Shadow yelled in anger but knew he had no influence over me.

“Trinity, speak to me are you ok?!”

“Re… Ren?” She said with very little energy. “Don’t worry Trin, your going to be ok. I just need to get you out of this.” I touched her cheek and just with the sword, all my memories of her came back to me. She was a love of mine but I never had the chance to tell her how I felt, but I did love her. I was even more determined now to get her back alive; I got Trinity out of her torture device and on the ground where she had passed out. This wasn’t good; she had lost a lot of blood. She needed to get back to the refuge and get some blood transfusions pronto! Just as I laid her down, someone picked me up and pinned me to the wall chocking me. It was Fin… He was hurt pretty badly but he was still able to fight.

“You son of a…” he put his katana to my throat but then all of a sudden rifle fire roared in and a shot must have hit his leg cause he let go of me to reach for his leg in pain. Fin than jumped up high and opened a ventilation shaft.

“This isn’t over Rendak… Shadow, whatever the hell your name is. I WILL HAVE MY BLOOD!” All of a sudden Meeko and Dominic and ran in.

“Didn’t need our help huh?” Dominic taunted at me. I chuckler and gave him a thumbs up,

“Good job you guys I…” The prolonged fighting must have gotten to me, cause then I passed out from exhaustion. Before everything went black though I could hear Meeko go,

“Rendak! Dam, lets get these two back to that refuge. I saw a medical wing we can take them to…” I had my hand holding Trinity’s before the area finally went pitch black.
