I’m kind of...I don’t want to say in love because I’m not. I don’t think I know what real love feels like...to be in love that is. But even that isn’t true. I know what it’s like to be in love. Just not romantic love. I’m in love with my best friends, and that’s an extraordinarily powerful love...but this is different.

It’s the kind of thing where all day, every day, you catch yourself suddenly thinking of the person. You see someone riding a bike and it reminds you of them because, well, they own a bike too. Along with a large portion of the rest of the world...but the only person it reminds you of is that one.

The one.

I’ve never had a one before.

...It’s kind of strange.

All you want to do is see that one person. If you could be with that one person all day, you still wouldn’t get bored. Something about them fascinates you, and it doesn’t make sense.

They aren’t absolutely, outstandingly gorgeous by the rest of the worlds standards, but to you the only word you’d use to describe them is beautiful.

They make you laugh. So hard.

And you can’t stop...but you don’t want to either. Because you’re sharing one of those moments that you never want to leave.

You’ve only told two other people about this...one.

At least you’re not alone with your secret anymore.
