A/N: I can ninety-nine-point-nine percent guarantee that this is not about what you're going to think it's about. That said, I hope you enjoy it anyway.

Still Love

When I speak of your ways and colors scant
They tell me to throw you away, but I can’t –
You’re much too important for that

I can’t just wipe you off my slate
For you’ve sucked me in, and it’s far too late
And thus I’ve come to love you

Oh, I can hate you –
But I still love you

So many think you an ideal man, and
Hah! The things they just don’t understand
But I still love you

You’ve done some things they’ll never see
Of which no one knows but you and me
But still I love you

And despite the sorrow and pain you bring
That most unthinkable suffering
I still love you

Your face is indifferent, and painfully so
Your eyes show no flicker of a human soul
But still I love you

Oh, I can hate you –
But I still love you

I won’t stoop down to your exquisite low
The likes of my emotions, you’ll never know
So I still love you

And when I think too much of your hateful ways
My mind needs only to sit and silently say
I still love you
I still love you
I still love you

And soon enough my thoughts will be kinder
All I need lately is a constant reminder
That no matter what you do
I still love you
