Piece Six

Hushed meadow in iridescent light,
give me the courage to continue my fight
against all that I once was and never again to be.
Give me peace while I grow freely.

Reach within my hollow shell
and allow me to be told all there is to tell
about truth and love,
there is so much to rise above.

Lift me higher into good grace
and keep me there, warm and safe.
Show me more of the truth to live,
show me again how to forgive.

The pieces are gathered, each ready to return
to the place they belong in this world.
Every breath draws me more near
to the hearts I once held so impossibly dear.

I wish to learn more of you
and your silhouetted truth.
I long to hold you closer
then I have allowed in the ether.
