Frozen

When the cold starts
To tingle on my skin,
I watch the darkness
Fall and night begin.

The stars suddenly freeze
They wait in anticipation.
For the moon to come out,
And shed her hesitation.

I can see my breath.
In the icy atmosphere,
I see the constellations.
It all becomes clear.

I am eclipsed in night
Watching moon and all.
The world shrinks and
I feel I became small.

When everything is pulsing,
When everything is raw,
In this stormy silence is
When I believe in God.
