Fall Is Over

Leaves are falling,

falling down.

Tumbling colors,

like a sunset sky.

Red and yellow

and orange and green.

Colors of an

enchanted fire.

Ever-changing,

ever-keen.

Quickly pacing,

red on green.

Dying, dying.

Trees are dying,

leaving us

their eternal beauty.

Crying, crying.

Leaves are crying,

tears of a

fallen goddess.

Creaking limbs

whip against

windows with the

harsh winds.

First snow falls,

and we all know--

fall is over.

A/N: Just a short little poem inspired by the changing seasons. It's gonna snow before Thanksgiving. ^^
