This is the fourth song that I've ever written. It's just a little something, but comment if you want to. Happy Reading.

First Verse
She knows what people expect from her
She's been told over and over
Yet, no matter how hard she tries
Tears still pool in hazel eyes
She only wants to make them proud…
But how can she when mistakes become a shroud?
She'll try harder in this world where she belongs
But right now she bows her head to pray…
The words being sung like a song.
Chorus
Help me be someone that can be strong
Help me make them proud for what I've done
Father if you're listening
Then lend me your guiding hand…
And please help me
Second Verse
This boy so scared and all alone
Wants to find a place he can call home
But all his life he's been an outcast
He's disappointed them and has no last chance
As he sits and waits for opportunity to knock
He bows his head to pray…
Speaking with everything he's got
[Back to chorus]
Third Verse
Now, as I watch, their lives turn around
As thought something worth wile has been found
I smile at this because I know they're proud
And they tell the world "just look at me now!"
But somewhere inside…it's my turn to cry
I bow my head and pray quietly…
Hoping that someone will hear my plea
Chorus
Help me be someone that can be strong
Help me make them proud for what I've done
Father if you're listening
Then lend me your guiding hand
Help me to fight, help me to stand…
Please help me
~End Song~
