Prologue

I've faced many spooky things in my life, what with being the daughter of a paranormalist. But I've never had to face ANYTHING like this before. The only other time I've ever been this scared was when I was 6 and my mom took me with her to investigate a haunted house in Boston. The plane ride scared me, the ghosts scared me, the people living in the house scared me! But I've gotten used to my mom channeling spirits, talking to the dead, I even saw a dead person once. I've become part of my mom's paranormalist team. I'm the physic and the seeker. I've helped a lot of people get rid of spirits that haven't passed on and demons that made their ways through portals. But I never knew how scary it really was to be haunted until I moved into The Raven House.

So, this is my first original story.
