Witches’ Brew

The recipe for most unholy brew
follows as such:

Brew only on Halloween, to make it worthy,
be sure not to do it too early.
Ingredients are of vast import,
do make sure you’re not too short!

A vampire’s fang, to make it thick,
a werewolf’s howl, to make it stick.
A zombie’s eye, to look you over,
A goblin’s blood, to reverse the clover.
Dust from a mummy’s tomb,
to carry in the gloom.
And just a pinch of frightening gore,
to stop the angels at the door.

Stir once, twice.
Serve it up to giggling ghouls on ice,
to make their Halloween less scary,
on their never-ending search for candy.
