Wash the throat with cigarette smoke
cull the exhale with [your] name
and lose it again to the
baroque stillness--- subdued [white-black] horrifying
crystalless, paralyzed nightair.

Therianthropic, [I]
drop my fleece-hide for corners coarse, for blister-shot
whiskered fur, reeking of misanthropy and the
distinct queen carnage of a heart
weeping puss from its potato eyes.

The tar scent lingers
under my nails, masking
that glossy ghost of your softness.
