The Sweetest Sorrow
I let my leash be tied,
Just one step further to fame,
But one stair submerge,
At every pace,
We move forward,
But never towards the sky.
No care of beauty,
Should the story captivates,
Yet no spectators,
Are touched by your message,
For your picture,
Is worth less than 10 words;
How do we touch their hearts?
We wondered, I figured,
With logic and sacrifice,
But the masterminds,
Brainwashed the king
Deflecting my beliefs,
Controlling with their gods;
I watched with sympathy,
Abusing the team,
With their subjects of worships,
I stared with hatred,
At the ritual paintings,
I listened with fake patience,
To their chants and praises,
How were they my sisters,
When I lost coherence with them?
How long can I keep,
The beast howling inside?
I stung too many,
And soon comes their turn,
I have to be away,
Free from these shackles,
To keep them safe,
From my rampage.
I will go away,
Perhaps to find my place,
Or to meditate,
So it had come to this,
Was never in my dreams,
But I can no longer stand,
Being a substitute,
I can no longer endure,
Being an impurity,
I would love not to be,
An unused tool;
I shall part with tears,
I thank you,
For your kindness,
But value me not,
As you have done,
And had been doing,
So if I die,
Be the least to bother,
Please.
