Robbing me of kindness and sympathy,

Numbing vibrations rock me to the core.

I am all that I hate and loathe,

I am bloodless, gutless, useless.

I cannot muster the strength to swallow

And so I will drown...

Alone… just as I came into this world.

I shall leave it justly dissatisfied

And fly on the air currents to a higher place

Where my tears will fall as raindrops,

And you will taste the salt and think of our long kisses on the beach.

I am not sad, or downtrodden, I am empty.

Empty as the shells;

As the center of the ring you never gave.

It is hard to see the future through the clouds.
