I do not believe in "meant to be";
I believe in the sun on my pillow
very early in the morning. I
also believe that people hurt
each other;

breaking down walls upon walls
just to reach something that was
never there to begin with. Only
sometimes it hurts – slow, steady
pain

that is truly not even real – distant
thought upon thought, tangled in
each other, thoughts that don't even
make sense. I am far too confused
to

try to make sense of it all.
