Who I was, Who I am~

Authors note: Hello! So here's something tht I really wanted to write andso.... I did. AN that's shocking to me. Anyway, this is the first story I've done in a script format and it's the first one I've submitted onto fictionpress. Up till now I've been doing Twilight fanfiction. Well, actually, I still am, so the updates might be a bit slow. Sorry! By the way, this first chapter/ scene/ thing is also the last scene. The next one will be the first one. kinda like a flashback. (p.s Daemon is pronounced like day-mon)

Act 1, scene 1

PENELOPE and DAEMON are on stage, holding each over closely. They both have big rucksacks.

DAEMON (strokes her cheek) Penny don’t cry. Please don’t cry.

PENELOPE I’m not crying. I’m just.. Sad. I… I’m sorry, Daemon.

DAEMON Sorry for what? Penny, babes, I’m not gonna force ya to come away with me. I can’t. You shouldn’t even be here, babes. You should be home, not with me. You-

PENELOPE pulls away and walks up stage.

PENELOPE I did something terrible, Dai.[pronounced like day] I did something so terrible and I shouldn’t have done it. I…

DAEMON (walking towards her and puts his hands round her waist) Look, babes, you couldn’t have done anything that bad. I mean…it’s you. You wouldn’t hurt a thing. Would you?

PENELOPE I told Ginger.(there’s a long pause) She’s coming here. Now.

No one says anything for a while.

DAEMON When did you tell her?

PENELOPE (starting to cry)Just… just after you left. And she already knew. And I didn’t want to keep any secrets from her. And…and…oh I’m so sorry!

DAEMON (coldly) I’m not angry at you, Pen.

PENELOPE (sobbing) Yes you are!

DAEMON No I’m not. I’m just.. She’s gonna tell the police. Isn’t she?

PENELOPE (still sobbing) No she wouldn’t. She wouldn’t…

GINGER appears on stage.

GINGER I would.

PENELOPE (running to her) Oh Ginger. I’m sorry. I’m so ,so sorry I have to leave.

GINGER But you don’t have to leave. That’s the thing.

GINGER glares at DAEMON and pulls PENELOPE to the side of the stage.

GINGER That’s the thing. You don’t have to leave. It’s only because of Daemon that you leaving.

PENELOPE But I love him.

GINGER Do you? Even if it means leaving your dad. Leaving everyone you know and love just for him?(Her voice breaks) How could you betray us like this?!

PENELOPE I love you ,Ginger. I love you like a sister. But I have to do this.

They hug suddenly.

PENELOPE I’m gonna miss you Ginger.

GINGER You too, Penelope. You too.

The scene fades out.
