Chapter Three:

I could nearly kill Bella each morning; she opened our curtains and made sunlight stream into our dorm room. I always hated it because it usually woke me from a deep sleep that I could never get back into for weeks at a time. But today, she only drew them open partway. I opened my sleep crusted eyes and glanced over at her, watching her pull on her jeans, tug in her bra and a long sleeved blouse and worked her feet into her tennis shoes. It was normal everyday for her to go running for an hour and come back to shower. She hadn’t noticed I was awake yet and I kept it like that. When she turned around to face me, I squeezed my eyes shut and pretended to sleep as she left the room.

I swung my feet out and I hissed; the cold hardwood floor jolted my poor, tired body. I did have a rug on my side of the bed. I wondered if it had somehow found its way to her side again. I scratched my head and groaned, last night coming back to my mind. It gnawed its angry head at my eyeballs and I tried to fight it back. Then I realized that I had to give that note to Amy I had written last night.

I flew out of my comfy, warm bed and scrambled to pick up my scattered clothes on my floor. I bumped my shin into my chair and I hissed, cursing it in my mind. I hated being a disaster but I wasn’t exactly known for having grace either.

“I hope she’s there today.” I muttered to myself. Earlier last week she had taken off due to family problems and I really hoped she’d come back. I was one of the few students that stayed on campus during break. I earned extra hours by staying and taking extra classes. Most of the teachers loved me; my grades were perfect in all reality. I do remember acing everything when I was living with my parents, and that had even included my ACT and my SAT; perfect scores and EVERY college wanted me. I do remember before my family found out about my “affliction” that they were disappointed that I refused to go to Harvard or even Brown College.

I shrugged on my coat and felt in the pocket for the small note. I smiled to myself and I grabbed my purse and things and walked out of my small dorm room. Sometimes I wished I decided to live off campus but other times, I loved the company. The dorm hallways were empty and silent; most of the students had left for the holidays. There were a few students here and there, but they were people I had never met or even would talk to.

oOoOo

“Amy!” I gasped quietly as I slipped into her classroom. Her head jerked up, her hair falling around her face, curling tresses wrapping onto her glasses. I was panting a bit from running from the other side of campus, wanting to see her so badly all of a suddenly.

“Yes?” she asked, unhooking her hair from her glasses and took them off.

I panted and I pulled the note from my pocket. “I wrote this after you had… Told me.. Uh.. About yesterday.” I finally stuttered, biting my lips and blushing a bit. She cocked her head sideways and took the paper from my outstretched fingers. She scanned through it quickly and then folded it and stuffed it into her pocket and looked up at me.

“I’m willing to get to know you better. Does that work?” she asked, completely disregarding my note. My jaw dropped and I shook my head.

“You’ll get in trouble, you’ll get fired!” I gasped, still swinging my head left and right. She just chuckled and stood up.

“It’s my choice. And, you act like,” she stood up and came around her desk, “that you really want to get to know me, but you’re hiding behind the fact that I’m a teacher and you are my student.” her face widened into this knowing smirk and I simply glared at her.

“Fine, I admit it.” I grumbled, not wanting to argue with her. Lowering my eyes, I let my eyes roam over her body. She was actually really cute for a teacher; one of those I’d honestly love to fuck if I had a dick. I snickered to myself, blushing suddenly.

“Good, I’m about to leave for the day. Would you like to go eat?” I heard her ask, and I glanced up towards her, the mention of food nearly making me drool. She laughed and I blushed again. I knew that going out and having lunch or dinner with her wasn’t a good idea but I couldn’t help myself when I said,

“Sure.”

She gave me a wide smile and gathered up her things. “I want to run home and freshen up. I can meet you at Sally’s.” she said, handing me a piece of paper with her phone number on it. I gasped; Sally’s was expensive and something that you didn’t go to looking like you’re poor. “I’ll see you around 7 all right?” she suggested, giving me a funny look. I nodded and I didn’t think on anything else as I made my way back to my dorm room.

I wandered my way back to my room within just a few minutes, not watching where I was going. Bella had come back in from her run and I had quietly opened the door and watched her strip out of her sweaty running clothes. My eyes widened; for a small person, she had an amazing body. Shapely hips, long legs that went on till Tuesday, a sculpted ass that anyone could squeeze, and the hint of a breast poked out from her arm.

“Violet!” Bella shrieked, whirling around just as she was pulling on a long sweater with no pants. I blushed and shut the door behind me.

“Sorry, I wasn’t thinking.” I mumbled a phony apology and slunk over to my bed and flopped face down on it. I heard her grunt and kick around my shoes ‘till they were underneath my bed.

“Why are you moping?” she asked, kicking me gently in my foot. I groaned, trying to ignore her. “If you don’t tell me, I’ll keep pestering you.” she said in a sing song voice. I groaned louder, stuffing a pillow over my head and trying to block her out.

“I have a date,” my voice was muffled underneath the pillow. She muttered something and suddenly my pillow was ripped out of my hands. “Hey!” I shrieked, shooting upright and attempting to grab the pillow out of her hands.

“Repeat what you said.” she said in a no-nonsense sounding voice and her hands on her hips. I gulped, seeing her eyes were wide in anger.

“..” I repeated forcefully, rolling my eyes. She tossed the pillow back to me and sat over on her bed.

“Now, what was so hard about that?” she smirked and chuckled.

“Shut up,” I muttered, grabbing my pillow and flopping onto my back with it clutched to my chest. I liked the idea of going out with my teacher, but there was that damn voice in the very back corner of my mind that said things might not work out for the best if we do.

“So, decided where you’re going to go or even wear?” Bella asked, jolting me out of my daze. I sat up on my elbow and shook my head.

“I know we’re eating at Sally’s but I have no fucking idea what the hell to wear.” I said, sitting back up, my stomach suddenly nauseous. She chuckled and stood up, tapping her chin while she thought.

“You’ve some pretty dresses in your closet. Spruce them up with some leggings, so you aren’t cold obviously. Wear those cute little black boots of yours,” she trailed off as she marched over to my closet and started pulling things out. I sighed but sat up farther, watching and wondering what she was thinking.

“I have the perfect outfit! You’ll look so hot!” she squealed, throwing several pieces of clothing at me.

Author's Note: This took a bit more forcing to come out. It's one of those places where it's harder to write since it's in between the things you need to know. Also, this is late because I haven't been feeling too well. ^-^ Please enjoy! And leave a comment so I know if you like!
