A wood house with a kid, dog, husband and wife

Would be mine – the picture of an average life

Haven't traveled much, never been too far

But I've lived in the city, seen the buildings and smoke

I've trained a dog and I've ridden a horse

I've planted a tree, but it died, of course

Picking fruit that grew from the seeds you'd sewn
