No amount of black or blue could bruise me
Because the philosophy of connections fade with each shot
And I have become the bullet in the glass
Downing their tragedies just so I can wake up ill
And feel the sickness they so deeply need
To fill a void long overdue

Well, tequila takes the clothes off cousin, but tonight
It takes the feeling away
And I’m alright with that
