Fear Me Not, I Still Love You

By: Brenli

What have I done?

Forever angry at the betrayer of the heart

I’ve sworn to kill you

But now I take you in.

Oh fear me not because I love you

My heart will never stop aching for you

You taker of innocence

Betrayer of the heart!

Is it not your joy?

Is it not my pain?

I smile anyway, so am I masochistic,

You killer of the better me?

Fear me not though I plan to murder you

Because you know that I still love you.

I could slit your throat and kiss you at the same time…

Ladies and gentlemen, that is real love.

I’ll kill him merrily but I’ll mourn just as steadily

Have I gone a little insane to you?

I like to think so, too.

But when you find me with a blade of hatred

Fear me not.

I still love him.
