Things to know before reading a.k.a WiniBites by the Lady

Oracles are called the chosen people with the Sight or the Sighted Ones. They can see through time but more often, the future. They belong to a secret society called, The Court governed by the High Oracle.

Oracle’s Court- the association of the Sighted Ones.

Seers are lower ranked Oracles in training.

Oracles/Seers are neither Fang nor Grim, they are both Celestial and Mortal. They are the keepers of balance and balance itself.

Celestialsare supernatural entities that control the balance and aspect of living of both the Celestial and Mortal world, they are heavenly beings superior to mortals. .

There are two known tribes, the Fangs (vampires and werewolves – and yes they’ve settled their differences…some anyway) and the Grims And rumor has it that there’s another form of Celestials that are said to hold great power than the two tribes combined. Legend has it that there are two who have been born to be called the Higher Celestials. The two opposing powers since time immemorial – Light and Dark.

Grims- beautiful winged beings often mistaken as Angels. They are actually the Reapers who border between Light and Dark. They are also known as the elementals.

Vampire Social Club- The over-all Coven of Fangs who mingle with the mortals. They are composed of a variety of Vampires who have distinct thirsts and only a few of the traditional Vampires-the bloodsuckers, are prevalent. Guided and guarded by the Oracles, they are allowed to co-exist with the human race as long as each Vampire abides by two major rules; Never drink from the innocent and Never reveal your identity. Breaking the rules equals banishment. Fangs associated with the Social Club are required to aid and protect the members of the Pandora.

Pandora- a group of Fangs pretending to be humans pretending to be rockstar Vampires. They are considered an elite group due to their legendary Makers. They are headed by the traditional vampire, Spike Ellis (human. Peter Rainharte) the Fang appointed to deliver dirges for the soul count balance.

A dirge is a somber song expressing mourning or grief, such as would be appropriate for performance at a funeral. The English word "dirge" is derived from the Latin Dirige, Domine, Deus meus, in conspectu tuo viam meam ("Direct my way in your sight, O Lord my God"), the first words of the first antiphon in the Matins of the Office for the Dead. The original meaning of "dirge" in English referred to this office- Wikipedia

A dirge is a song that symbolizes the approaching death of a person. It can cause the death or give a warning. A person with that ability has what we call, death’s voice. -Mikhael Vergil X, Court Regent file for dirges.

4 Mystics- the 4 elected Central Court Leaders. Basically the party of the Regent.

Soul Count- the balance of Life and Death. The core to the peace between the mortal and celestial world.

-at the start of each chapter will be the name of a specific character. That corresponds to whose POV it is.

For easier reading, I’ve decided to post a re-write of my story “P.S I Bite: The Vampire Social Club.” I’ve divided some long chapters into 2, to make it easier on the eyes. Hope you guys read and review.

Plus, watch out for an update on Halloween as P.S celebrates its 1st birthday! As well as the launching of the interactive mini-site in LiveJournal where some posters and character drawings (courtesy of DeviantArt .com) of some characters.
