Thunder roared in the distance. Kenny slid down the stair banister, despite the countless times his mom Carmen had warned him: "You're going to break a body part!". This just goes to show you how much he really cares. The snow white refridgerator with its matching handles were covered in multi-colored sticky notes. It looks like Myst's rainbow sheep plushie, Mr. Rainbow Sheepy from a distance. He skimmed through them.

Grandpapa Shiya had left a notice: Hands off of the muffins. I just bought them. Aiden -- I got some more pocky. I'll be in my room napping.

Mom: I'm in my room watching anime with Crystal and Lily. (Mostly Crystal and I. Lily doesn't watch.) Don't disturb me. If you want food, you know where to look. Absolutely no frying, boiling, or ANYTHING that involves fire. Please try not to burn the house down. Thank you.

Aiden: Going out with Alice. Call if you need me.

Suki: My friend's coming over today. At 11:00 or something.

David: Getting a present for Lexi. *heart* It's her birthday tomorrow. And yes, I am fully aware that it is raining. Love makes you do crazy things.

Kenny glanced into the living room and sighed. Myst was playing with Raymond. Again. "...And I wub you SO MUCH, Mr. Wainbow Wacy," she was saying in a childish voice. Absurd. Kenny wanted to puke. He checked his wristwatch absently. It was 10:55 AM.

Suddenly, a low melodic bell shattered the silence. He skipped to the door. Opening the door, he discovered a young boy with an umbrella. His mother was following him closely behind. She seemed to be in the middle of a lecture. "Remember to be polite, sweetie. Please ask before you eat something. Remember that time when you went to Zi Qun's house and ate all the cookies in the cookie jar?" Finally noticing Kenny, she broke off abruptly. "Have fun!"

The boy seemed to be younger than Kenny. He was wearing a layered shirt with red sleeves. That was strange; Raymond had a similar shirt but with gray sleeves. The boy dumped his dark ebony umbrella onto the floor ungraciously. His hair swished slightly as he moved. "Where is she?" he asked.

"Who?" Kenny was confused.

"Suki." As if her name had summoned her, Suki ran over to greet her friend.

"Hi," she replied enthusiastically. She hastily grabbed his hand and dragged him into the living room where Myst and Raymond were. "Come on, Kenneth! I'll introduce you to everyone." She paused. "That was my brother Kenny, by the way."

Kenny sighed, loneliness getting the best of him. Everyone was doing something with or for someone they love (everyone except Grandpapa Shiya, that is). And what was he doing? Moping about the house. The raindrops splattered the window in a steady rhythm. Oh well. He retreated back into his room to play videogames.

-Kenny's POV-

I pull out my map. Where was I? A gust of wind captured the piece of paper in its icy claws. It was carried away from my reach. Oh well; who needs a stupid map anyway? I'm a level 48. Awesome. I scan the horizon, where the sun was already setting. Red-orange light seeps through the forest green trees. I'll have to stay at the nearest town, which is probably Ellinia.

I walk along, minding my own business when suddenly...

BOOM!

I smack right into a pink leg covered in frosting. "Hey!" I shout angrily at the obstacle. "Watch where you're going!" Then, I notice that the pink thing with frosting was connected to a body...

Uh oh.

"KENNY!" A voice pierces through the air. It sounded like Suki. "KENNETH WANTS TO KNOW IF THERE'S ANYMORE TOILET PAPER!"
