Anger is swelling

Tightens the chest and throat

Threatens to overflow

Taking unspeakable oaths

.

You utter a curse

You lie through your teeth

You make yourself stop

You try not to breathe

.

Your eyes pierce the walls

Trying to flee

Time holds you still

Unintentionally

.

As life rushes on

Just beyond the glass

You have no choice

But to bite on your lip

Take a deep helpless breath

And be tame, and sit still

And just watch it pass…

.

Twelve minutes to freedom

(Or at least some other class)

No choice but to just wait

For the bell to ring at last.

.

A/N: Wrote this during a Trig class, a few weeks ago. Gosh, that class is so boring. Anyway. Reviews please!
