Stupid stupid stupid rules

why were there ever rules to begin with?

rules which make me feel sooo ancient and um well ancient….

the world must think I’m that ‘type’

even if the ‘world’ consists of only one person

one person who doesn’t even friggin care that I’ve wrote according to the rules

I doubt that person even knows

about ‘types’

But then again, it’s a field in which you gain a lot of experience

Since when did I care too much of what other people thought?

In fact we’re all hypocrites

Sure we have rules

of etiquette and decorum and blah-di-blah

but what about moral values???

does no one care about those anymore?

Is it only about sounding good on paper?

Or appearing respectable and modest on paper??

Paper’s thin

Really thin

Like our moral values

We may do God knows what in our houses

but out there, in ‘the world’ we’re magically transformed

into shiny-clean people

with stupid paper rules

and stupid paper attitudes

teaching us kids paper stuff

so that we’ll turn out paper thin too

Just like the rest of ‘the world’

So why do I care?

About the rest of the world?

After all, we’re all the same
