Paris and Lalia were leaving today, time to say goodbye. Alexandra was sick at the thought of it, her bed was soft, comfortable, she couldn’t hear Paris downstairs, talking to her Father and Sunday morning he would be there without fail. This Sunday he wasn’t. He was probably packing then Lalia walked in with her stuff. Her hair was tied up in a neat bun, she was as neat as a pin. At least Darius was still there. Now Lalia stood over Alexandra’s bed with her face in Alexandra’s. Alexandra groaned “I don’t want to!” Alexandra protested
“What about Paris?!” Lalia asked forcefully “Are you going deprive him of your presence?” Lalia lectured “He doesn’t have a choice, neither do I” Lalia cried
“What? You didn’t you even tell me I heard from Paris!” Alexandra moaned then stood out of her bed and stormed off whilst still in her night garments, her feet stomped the stairs then Lalia grabbed her arm and dragged her downstairs to the drawing room. “What?” Alexandra asked, Alexandra was becoming agitated with Lalia presence she felt lied to and betrayed.
“You can’t do this. Paris doesn’t want to leave you, stop being such a human girl” Lalia told her the manner of her words made Alexandra feel like a child
“Human? What’s that suppose to mean?” Alexandra shouted her head was spinning she felt as if she was going to be sick
“Yes you are getting all hung up on a man, all weak, all dependant” Lalia lectured her
That moment Paris burst through the door. His face was glum, he seemed empty and incredibly sad the fact. “Alexandra you are to say goodbye at the dock to me, today?” Paris asked hopefully
“Maybe, to say bye to Lalia” Alexandra could be ever so stubborn she made it clear for Lalia
When she said that Paris could almost fall his face turned grim, he seemed even more glum if that was possible. When she spoke the words of not to see him he walked out of the room quietly. “Yes well I will see you there if you go other then that good day”
Lalia’s face turned to her when he left the room heartbroken. “Look what you have done to him!” Lalia shouted “He clearly feels as bad as you maybe worse the fact her has to leave no choice whatsoever” Lalia told her
“He’s the one who is acting like a human now see” Alexandra laughed
“How can you be so cold, you love him?” Lalia asked shocked
“PARIS!” Alexandra yelled then she turned to her sister “You’re quite right I do” Alexandra realised she was out of his ear shot she quickly found some clothes to wear she threw them over herself then ran out of the house. Alexandra looked to her left then looked to her right she could find him. Then she looked to the road opposite she saw him dragging his feet, she yelled “PARIS!”
He turned round then shouted “Alexandra!” He saw her his eyes lightened up at the site of her, he let out a smile. She ran across the road in a frenzy and hugged him so tight she never wanted to let go. He then hugged her back and kissed her on the head. They hugged for so many moments opposite her home everyone looking who could see she didn’t care then they kissed each other.
“Alexandra!” Her Father yelled out of the window he did not like any man to touch any of his daughters, Paris was not an exception. “They are not leaving today anyway!” Her father shouted “Kolhia”
The festival of colour Alexandra’s heart jumped out of her chest almost one more day. “Paris this is one day more is the best possible gift I could have asked for” Alexandra smiled then she kissed him lightly on the lips in her pure joy.
“This is amazing!” Paris smiled he hugged her he was warm and cosy she felt all comfortable in his arms. “Well it is not like I will never see you again” Paris laughed “I will dream about you every night if it is a nightmare then you would be the angel from my nightmare”
“Angel?” Alexandra laughed
“Yes well if I see you in a nightmare I doubt it will be a nightmare any more you and only you could save me from a nightmare so terrifying as you are my angel” Paris laughed as he gripped her hand even tighter he smiled and his green eyes shone.
“You are so cliché, I swear you have a handbook on how to master cliché moments like this, it is actually rather annoying” Alexandra groaned moments like that made her feel a little queasy she felt embarrassed by just hearing it
“You are different to other girls” Paris laughed
“You saying I am odd?” Alexandra asked outraged
“No it is just girls would love to be told that they are Angels” Paris laughed
“Oh so that’s what you say to all the girls is it?” Alexandra asked, she did not want old lines used on her which have been used on previous girlfriend’s
“No, I am just saying it would make girls be all jolly whereas you find it awkward” Paris laughed
“I am unique not like other girls that’s why you love me and you know it” Alexandra laughed
They walked into Alexandra’s home her Father was sitting on a seat by the door grinding his teeth at the sight of Paris. Paris smiled he understood Alexandra’s father hate for him he might be like that when he is a Father. “” he held out his hand it took time for him to shake Paris’ hand but he eventually did.
“Hey Paris” Darius said as he walked down the stairs “Leaving my sis then well if you hurt her I will hunt you down and make you pay!” His voice turned from cheerful to serious almost threatening him. Then he perked and smiled “anyhow party time”
“I am going to get ready with Lalia!” Alexandra perked up she knew tomorrow the pain will hit her tomorrow like a ton of bricks but today was a happy day maybe the best day of her life. She ran upstairs to her room in excitement Lalia was standing there already ready for the festival, Alexandra could not figure how she got changed so quickly. On her bed there were clothes already laid out for her. “Mother?” Alexandra knew she didn’t even need to ask
“Yes, she was only being caring” Lalia lectured she always lectured her she always seemed to drone on and on.
“I know, I am not a child though am I?” Alexandra groaned
“She will be hurt if you don’t” Lalia told her
“I know, I will!” Alexandra groaned “It isn’t too bad I suppose” Alexandra said as she reluctantly picked up the clothes and went to her changing room to get changed. Alexandra came out wearing a white dress, it was in the fashion except the arms on it were odd they seemed to be like balloons.
Lalia laughed at her “Your arms well that dress does them justice”
“Wonderful!” Alexandra moaned yet she was still as happy

At the party hall was full of immortals a handful of them were in Alexandra’s place being left behind or Lalia and Paris’ place leaving for a hostile journey. Alexandra walked in to the room her Father stood between her and Paris the rest of her family already there. The room was vibrant with all colours up the wall it seemed quite plain yet it had painted patterns up the wall too. until he got called by some of his friends. Paris then took Alexandra’s hand and they danced, then all coloured powder fell from the ceiling of the room and covered the room.
“This is the perfect way to say goodbye” Alexandra smiled
“It is not forever, I will return, I promise” Paris smiled they continued to dance then the throwing of the colours started they both got some powered colours and threw it out each other laughter filled the room.
Then Paul ran in he was in charge of the operation to America the reason why Paris and Lalia were leaving, she despised him. He looked ragged tired out and ill when he entered the party went quiet “All of the new recruits have to leave immediately” Paul shouted
Alexandra’s eyes widened with shock then he shouted “WHY?”
Paul looked at her “Why? Silly girl because Vampires know about the plan if we leave now they will be surprised and may not be able to get the word out that we are arriving!”
“Why now?” a distressed man’s voice called out “My wife she has small children she can’t leave them!” The man protested, Alexandra realised what she was going through could be far worse. That is one thing about the immortals rule the royal family did not care for personal situations they cared more for keeping their wars’ running.
“They have to go” Paul answered “NOW!”
Everyone started their goodbyes they had to be quick. Paris grabbed Alexandra and kissed her. She held onto him tightly she whispered softly “Bye, I love you, wait for me” she started to cry
“I love you too this isn’t bye, I’ll write to you every single day you are my angel” He kissed her, Alexandra hated cliché moments she knew this was one of them
“Angel, don’t be going all soft and cliché you know I hate that” Alexandra groaned
“At least my leaving has not changed your character” Paris laughed
Lalia came running past she grabbed hold of Alexandra and hugged her tightly then her and Paris ran out of the door to leave for America. The ton of bricks had just fallen on her
