Untitled

When everything goes quiet

When the trees whisper expectantly

When the crickets open their wings

When the cicadas scream to the sky

When the burning twilight sun lays on the horizon

When the clouds wave goodbye

When the leaves rustle in triumph

When your heart feels right inside

When the devil was conquered

When he burns in his fire

When the sky rips open

When the angels sing praise

When the staircase to heaven slides down

When the brightest light shines through

When all wrongs are righted

When the reek of death has turned

When the darkness crumbles to dust

When your soul sings for all to hear

You will know that I am near.
