My name is Aliyano Mikami, I’m 13 years old and tomorrow I’m going to enter Tori no Tsubasa Gakuen. I always wanted to enter this academy because it is one of the best magical school and not only that; they only accept those who have “Tori.” A “Tori” is a kind of bird that can use magic and can summon spirits. I have one on my own and it is a Nightingale I nickname him as Nighty. While my sister has a Kingfisher, she nicknames hers as Fisherki (weird nickname isn’t it.)

“Yahoo!” I shouted with excitement of course, because we’re going to see which classroom we are designated.

“Can you shut up!” said my stupid sister, her name is Milyano Mikami. She’s one year younger to me but she’s pretty good at academics and sport that what makes me angry! “You know you shouldn’t jump around or you’re gonna trip with your rollerblades on” said my stupid sister. Now I’m angry, she always gives me constant reminders even though I know!

“Ah! There is it!” I shouted without caring for my stupid sister’s advice. “Wait” halted my sister.

“What is it now?! I’m in a hurry!” I said I can’t seem to control my excitement at that time.

“Can’t you see that there are so many people trying to see the list, the best solution is to wait.” answered my sister. “But, I want to see it now!” I said, after that I hurriedly went to the board to see which class I am.

“Suit yourself, I am staying here for awhile.” said my sister.

It was definitely crowded so I have to push the other people, and it’s definitely hard to balance because I still have my rollerblades in my feet. Finally, I saw the list but I nearly tumbled, I thought my head is going to touch the floor but I felt someone catch me, I thought it was my sister for a second but when I look back I saw a very cool guy. His eyes were cool blue, his skin is white and the color of his hair is deep sea blue. He said to me “Are you okay, Miss?” I answered “Yeah, a little. Thanks for catching me.” I said with a blush on my face. Then my sister came. “Aliyano, are you alright? I told you not to go yet, see what happens!”

“Yeah, I should have listened to you.” I said to my sister being humble, but she wasn’t looking at me anymore but to the guy who helped me.

“Um…..Thank you for catching my stupid sister, I’m Milyano Mikami if you need help I’m here……” said my stupid sister to the guy. “That backstabber! I’m going to tell this to mom.” I thought.

After my sister talked to that guy, he went to the board again and look, and then he said: “I’m class A, what about you?” he went to look at me and then he left. After that, I went to the board and look again. I was searching for my name then I saw I’m class A as well. I didn’t tell my sister what class I am or definitely she’ll doubt it. Then I slept while thinking what academy is Tori no Tsubasa Gakuen, I never been there but I know for sure it must be a wonderful place. The reason I’m going to go to that academy is because some scouts from that academy told me that I should go there to train my “Tori”. My parents were totally happy and I ask them what is Tori no Tsubasa Academy, they answered that it was a perfect place for me to train Nighty, so I accepted the offer I’m totally happy when I heard an academy like that.

My Nightingale was a gift to me by my father. My father is a “Tori” hunter; he hunts the nearly extinct “Tori” then takes good care of them. If they are many again and far away from extinction my father released them in a place suited for there family, then my father and his coworkers surveyed them if illegal hunters hunt them again for their body, feathers and power. The difference between a normal bird and “Tori” is that it can talk, use power and summon spirits but it is so hard to see a “Tori” for they are very rare. My father gave me that “Tori” when I was 7 years old, I didn’t told my friends about that, so no one will say I’m boastful and proud. My father once told me that there are only two Nightingale “Tori” in the world, Nighty and Nighty’s mother but after my birthday, just a few weeks Nighty’s mother became ill and died. That’s why it’s up to me to take good care of Nighty.

I woke early and immediately pack up some of the things that I forgot to pack up last night. My sister is ready to go now (as always) and me as well (of course). We left early so that we can find seats for us. Before we went my mother and father kissed me and my sister, and then we waved to them and they waved us back while saying good-bye.

(Oh, I forgot to tell you guys my “Tori” is already at school and we’ll have our dorms there. Every student there has a dorm, because the academy is very far away from a city or a town.)

“I’m so excited!” I shouted smiling while my sister just looking at me. I asked what’s her problem but she only told me it’s nothing. “She’s kinda creepy today” I thought. After awhile, we’ve come to the place in which a magical train (I think) will take us to the academy.

“Don’t get excited or else you won’t survive” whispered my sister to me.

I’m now sitting in my seat but it seems I can’t forget the words my sister gave me, it’s the first time I heard something like that from her. Oh well, I didn’t mind that at all anyway. The train is started to move and it seems a different world started to get into my mind, its just awaiting me to get there.
