A/N: This is about a friend of mine, who I discovered at my college dance is an AMAZING dancer. But she left the dance just before "Wonderful Tonight" (the first slow song of the night came on.)
One Dance
The strobe lights flicker low
Your body is bathed in its soft green glow
As you sway your hips
A soft smile graces your lips
I watch you from a table
Watching you move my heart is not stable
And with the next song I hear
Into the crowded floor you disappear
I wish I had the chance
To ask you for just one dance
