"It seems like yesterday we were those silly little freshman, preoccupied by our goal to attract the attention of the cute senior. Then you look around and here we are. Our last year." I had to stop and breath or I'd start hyperventilating. Here I am in front of everyone and my legs are turning to mush.

"We're about to embark on the journey of our lives. We will be entering the real world. It's not easy, and some of us will fail, but we can't rely on our parents anymore. They've gotten us through these first 18 years and now it's our turn to fly. They've loved us, taught us the difference between right and wrong, and prepared us for this very as best they could. Never forget that." There's my mom in the third row bawling her eyes out already. I can't look or I'll start blubbering.

" Throughout my last 4 years here I've made the most amazing friends. Never would I have known that Julia McGille was such an amazing artist had I not been assigned the seat next to her in pottery. Nor would I have ever met Andrew Sillum if it weren't for that awful stint of dancing in P.E." I can see them in the audience, smiling for all they're worth.

"All of these experience whether good, mortifying, tragic,or outrageously funny, have shaped our lives. We've bonded in the way only people who have shared all of these experiences can. We will never forget who the biggest jock was, or even who we considered the biggest nerd. One day, when we're old and grey we'll find our then old and dusty high school yearbooks stashed away in the attic, away from sight. None of will resist the urge to crack open their spines and remember. Remember the days when you were free, a child with happiness not yet tainted by the evils of the world.", and there's my Grandma sitting there in her simple white dress, staring up at me with a knowing look in her eyes. I think I'm gonna pass out.

"Flipping through those pages will bring back memories like no other. You'll find friends you had forgotten within those pages. The sluts, freaks, geeks, jocks, they'll all be there as if high school was not but a day ago. Never forget what we have accomplished in our four years here. And always remember, you'll never be alone." With that I'm done, I don't have to speak anymore. Everyone begins to applaud and that's the last thing I hear before I hit the stage and everything goes black. Not again.
