1111111 Prologue 1111111
You should never be by a werewolf, my dad told me. They are evil creatures that will eat you whole.
At the time I was only six years old when he told me that, but as a little kid, curiosity got the best of me. As was, it my mother’s turn to spend some time with me, for two weeks.
While I stayed up with my mom, she was in the kitchen baking some cookies. I ventured outside hoping to spot one of these werewolves that my dad warned me about. It was snowing and I put on several shirts and slid on my jacket and headed out without telling my mom. I trudged through the snow, looking for any signs of a wolf. I knew there were some in the airea cause I heard my mom talking about them.
I was only a few yards away from the front of the house when I heard a snap. I looked around and gasped when I found someone lying on the snow, red stains splattered all around. I ran to the person.
“Are you alright mister?” I found a stick and poked him with it, “mister?”
He stirred awake and saw me, with blood shot eyes, “they’re coming…”
“Who’s coming?” I turned around but saw no one. It was then that I was yanked up. He stood up with one swift motion making it apparent that the blood was not from him and that he had no injuries. He hauled me up and grinned at me. I let out a scream for help but he threw me, literally threw across the snow. I landed with a thud despite the cushion of the snow and scrambled away
“The best ones are the younger ones” he growled.
“Mom!” I screamed, “MOOOOM!”
Terror overcame me when I saw his form twist into a large dog. I ran even faster but the snow was way too deep for me to run faster. I felt weight on my back and stumbled forward. Something underneath of me cracked and pain erupted from my shoulder.
I could make out the screams of my mother, but as I lifted my head from the snow, I realized I was being dragged away from her.
But then it stopped, and heard a howl from behind me. I dared to even look behind me watching two wolves fighting. The other wolf I didn’t recognized was much too big and therefore it had the upper hand.
The other sprinted toward me. I tried to get away but the pain in my right shoulder protested. The wolf landed on me, and lunged its jaws toward my neck. I let out an earslipttering scream. The wolf froze, as I felt it waver.
Blood leaked out from a puncture and dripped on my face. The dead weight of animal was on me and I struggled to free myself from it. Wide green eyes came to my line of vision accompanied by a small face. “Don’t be afraid. My name is Vincent. What’s yours?
But I fell into blackness before I could answer him.
