I remember the way
You called me your Snow White queen
Now that you’ve gone away
All I have is your memory

I still take the blame
Cling to what you left behind
Nothing will ever be the same
I’m losing my mind

Why did you have to go?
Surely you had to know
How did you not see
What this would do to me?

I needed you by my side
Needed you to survive
Instead you embraced the knife
Took the easy way out of life

I guess I wasn’t good enough for you
I should have seen the signs
You cannot hide what is true
The dead never lie

I hide behind this painted smile
I hate all I have become
Longing for your voice all the while
Unable to find warmth from the burning sun

Why did you have to go?
Surely you had to know
How did you not see
What this would do to me?

I needed you by my side
Needed you to survive
Instead you embraced the knife
Took the easy way out of life

I remember the way
You called me your Snow White queen
Now that you’ve gone away
All I have is your memory
